Exploring visual storytelling beyond photography with Lorenzo Russo

"There wasn’t a precise moment when I realized I wanted to become a photographer, simply because today I enjoy creating content that incorporates other forms of visual representation, not just photography as a medium.Recently, I’ve been making a lot of archival videos and I’ve noticed how easy it is to experiment with a very simple tool like handycams.
One of the projects I’m most attached to is definitely the work I’m doing with @0331.ent.This past February, we shot an editorial that led me to explore a new aesthetic. Since then, I’ve started focusing on images with a lot of digital noise, and I believe that marked a turning point for my personal taste.

My influences started in the analog world, as it was one of my first approaches to photography as a teenager. Among them, I can particularly mention two photographers, @pierrot and @katebellm, whose first photography books I bought.Besides photography, I consume a lot of music, which I also believe has played an important role in my growth.
Through my art, I hope to meet more people and discover different realities. I believe human connection and mutual exchange are the true goals we should all aspire to."
